Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure
Not all children are aware of their diagnoses, this must be respected by both parent and fellow children. A strict rule that no direct communication to the children of Autism or Diagnosis.
Conversations held within our community are to be confidential within the parties involved. This includes privacy to related schools, therapists or Networks online or otherwise.
Any photos posted online of our programs are to be of YOUR CHILD ONLY. If you are unable to remove another child from the photo PLEASE ENSURE TO COVER THE CHILDS FACE.
We recommend a smiley emoji.
From time to time we will take photos of our programs – and these photos will be made available to all of the parents in the group via a google photos account.
We do appreciate photos be made available to promote within our website – But this will be done only to the permission of the parent beforehand.
Respect and Responsibilities
All Lifestyles and choices are to be respected. SNAPP and it’s afflated clubs are free of judgement and prejudice and we expect our participants to be also.
There are many different interventions and therapy practices to Autism and Neuro Diversity all of these are to be respected.
Autism is not an illness to be fixed, it is one representation of our human diversity. Any Preaching or lecturing will not be welcomed.
Allergies and Invitations
Our programs do like to include a snack at the end, this helps regulate the kids’ blood sugar after exercise. It is also a wonderful bonding experience for the kids and often they try new food in this environment. Any Foods given by SNAPP coaches will be approved by parents beforehand.
Food is not to be offered to children without parental permission. It is not the responsibility of SNAPP to monitor this and will not be held responsible.
If a parent wishes to bring a celebratory cake or otherwise, it is to be given post-game and with prior notification to the parent coach. Thus allowing parents to take children home should they not wish to partake).
Party Invitations are to be given to the parent of the receiving child only
